Animals arrive at The Town Pound in Wareham……….
On Friday the team finished a project that has been running sometime with Wareham council, the placing of the images of the animals in the old town pound.
The town pound was where the stray animals would be impounded, and the owner would then have to pay to have them realeased.
We had the great privilege of installing the life size animals, the animals were mounted on wooden posts so to fit in with the local surroundings and were drawn up by Maria Burns then finished by the children of the local schools. This is first land was dug since Medieval times so great care was taken to not disturb the land to much.
The results talk for themselves and the finsh was exceptional, a brilliant effort from all involved from the intial thoughts and designs to the install.
